SM Bespoke Interiors Ltd is a bespoke fitted carpentry business based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

When you submit the enquiry form on this site we collect your name, the email address or phone number you give us, and anything you choose to write in the message field.

If you contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp or social media, we hold whatever you send us in that message.

If you accept cookies, we also collect anonymous information about how you use the site — pages visited, how you arrived, roughly where in the country you are, and what device you are on.

To reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, prepare a quote and carry out work you book with us.

To understand which pages and which adverts bring people to the site, so we spend our advertising budget sensibly.

We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

No tracking loads on this website unless you press Accept on the cookie banner. Decline and nothing is set beyond what the site needs to function.

If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure site usage, and the Meta Pixel to measure which Facebook and Instagram adverts lead to enquiries and to show follow-up adverts to people who have visited the site.

Where you accept cookies and then submit the enquiry form, the Meta Pixel also sends your name and contact details to Meta so it can tell whether the enquiry came from one of our adverts. These details are scrambled into an unreadable code by your own browser before they are sent — Meta only ever receives the scrambled version, and only uses it to check for a match against its own records. If you decline cookies, none of this happens.

You can change your mind at any time using the button at the bottom of this page, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

This site is hosted by Netlify, and enquiry form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms.

If you have accepted cookies, Google (Analytics) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receive usage data. Both may process it outside the UK under their standard data protection terms.

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for up to two years, in case you come back to us.

Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for six years, which is what UK tax and accounting rules require.

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email smbespokeinteriorsltd@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
